30. Okt. 2021 · Als Simon & Garfunkel erreichten Paul Simon und Art Garfunkel Welterfolge und schrieben Musikgeschichte. Drei Straßenblocks entfernt und im Abstand von nur knapp drei Wochen geboren lernten sich die beiden Musiker als Kinder kennen. Kurz nach Simon wird nun auch Garfunkel 80 Jahre alt - und ist solo weiter auf Tour. 30.10.2021, 00:35 Uhr.
Paul Simon begann sich mehr und mehr für die Filmerei zu interessieren. 1980 spielte er in "One Trick Pony" die Hauptrolle. Auch das Drehbuch des Filmes stammte von Simon. Der Soundtrack – ebenfalls von Simon – wurde ein Top-20-Erfolg und enthält den Hit "Late In The Evening". 1983 sang Simon mit Randy Newman das Duett "The Blues".
