16. Okt. 2018 · Our aim in this note is to present some of the crucial contributions of Jean-Christophe Yoccoz to the theory of circle diffeomorphisms. We start with a short historical account before exposing Yoccoz' work. Then we give a brief description of the main conceptual and technical tools of the theory, with a focus on describing Yoccoz' work and contributions.
