Aug. 2022 · Highclere Castle on the edge of Hampshire featured heavily in the Downton Abbey 2 movie, and we discovered that not only did Cora Crawley's marriage feature heavily in the sequel, but that Elizabeth McGovern's marriage did, too. It turns out the actress' husband Simon Curtis was drafted in to direct the second Downton Abbey movie.
