The IFRC is the world’s largest humanitarian network, comprising 191 National Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies working to save lives, build community resilience, strengthen localization and promote dignity around the world.
Capacity Building Fund. The CBF is a funding mechanism that aims to strengthen the National Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies, enabling them to increase the scale and quality of their humanitarian services and programs.

The ICRC is funded by voluntary contributions. We receive contributions from the States party to the Geneva Conventions (governments), national Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies, supranational organizations (such as the European Commission) and public and private sources.
