  1. THE SCHOOL DAY Starting the day. Morning drop-off is from 08:30 at the gate to the Walled Garden, for children in Key Stage One (Years 1 and 2). Children in Reception go to their classrooms from 08:30 where they are met by the teaching staff, who will welcome them into school.

Our boarding community is a mixture of full boarders (termly), weekly boarders from Year 9 (Sunday – Thursday nights) and local pupils who flexi-board from Year 7, on one or two nights a week due to school commitments.

The wellbeing of our pupils at Berkhamsted is a core part of many programmes of study and ways of working including curriculum PSHE, Chapel services and AS Tracking.
