The build up was quite unlike any other I’ve experienced, even though they would go on to do much bigger gigs, this felt very special, era defining.

There are no records about who wrote it, but it is thought that like many folk songs, it was passed down generations by word of mouth. ‘Knees up’ meant then what it does now: a party or a dance.

  4. 12. Alex, the bassist, takes a big interest in astronomy and this is his song. He has a child-like enthusiasm for it which is captured in the words. First he simply lists moons, "quiet in the sky at night", and then stars, "hot in the milky way". Ah, love it :) Absolute genius, shame it's so short.
