Juli 2017 · The drugged-up, zonked-out ‘Medication’, an extremely loose and sullen take on the kind of Stones-influenced rock they’d perfected, actually features former Sex Pistol Glen Matlock on bass. On the flip side, there are a few points on the album that are so spiked with bad acid that they seem like they belong on a different album altogether.
Glen Matlock. Glen Matlock (ur. 27 sierpnia 1956 w Paddington) – gitarzysta basowy zespołu Sex Pistols w latach 1975 – 1977 i znowu od 1996 (po reaktywacji). Po rozpadzie Sex Pistols współpracował m.in. z The Rich Kids, Sidem Viciousem, White Kids, Joan Jett. W 1990 opublikował wspomnienia I Was A Teenage Sex Pistol.
1. Sept. 2016 · Vanishing Point suona allucinato come mai prima d'allora. Non siamo più in presenza di una semplice rock band, bensì ci troviamo nella tasca della notte. Ci porta con se. Lo scenario te lo stringono attorno come fosse una camicia di forza, evocando la giungla urbana a suon di sitar e tamburi, fino all'esplosione di battiti elettronici e hammond.

15. Mai 2008 · その意味ではダブの要素を大きく取り入れた本作『Vanishing Point』は、本来のPrimal Screamが戻ってきた感じがしましたよね。 全編に渡るダブの影響が話題になるアルバムですが、僕にとってダブの導入云々はあまり重要ではなく、危険な香りの Primal Scream が戻ってきたのが嬉しかったですね。

The track we have here sounds like a Sex Pistols knock-off—albeit quite deliberately so, as Glen Matlock is on hand to play bass. Decidedly on point is “Motörhead”, a brutal techno warping of the metal band’s self-named track.
