Several books, most notably "All you need is Ears" by George Martin give 100% credit to John for the music and lyrics. Since John, Paul, & George Martin were there when history was being made, I believe there versions of how "IN MY LIFE" was created.

  6. This final production shows George Martin was an excellent producer and judge of talent. I only learned of this after Sir Sean died, and bought it just for his track ("In My Life"). For that alone it was well worth it, and all the other tracks are just cream in my coffee. What a wonderful, heartfelt collection.
