Governor Williams Obituary. The Legacy of Life. Governor Williams was born on October 31, 1932 in Savannah, Ga to the late Doc Williams and Rosa Mae Howard. Governor made his transition on May 7, 2022 at Ogeechee Area Hospice in Statesboro, GA. At an early age he was a member of Ditch Pond Baptist Church.
