Olivia falls in love with Cesario, not realising that Cesario is Viola in disguise. Viola is in love with Orsino, who is in love with Olivia. When Olivia realises that she has married Sebastian, who is Viola’s twin brother, she seems happy to accept the situation and Viola is relieved that she no longer has to lie.
Twins are separated in a shipwreck, and forced to fend for themselves in a strange land. The first twin, Viola, falls in love with Orsino, who dotes on OIivia, who falls for Viola but is idolised by Malvolio.
