Shel Talmy. Shel Talmy (11 de agosto de 1941, Chicago, Illinois, Estados Unidos) es un productor discográfico norteamericano, escritor de canciones y arreglista. The album was released in the UK in February 1970. Stratton Smith was unhappy with Anthony's production and asked Shel Talmy to remix it. The first pressing of the album was released with Talmy's mix, but the band were unhappy and convinced Charisma to allow Anthony to remix it, which appeared on all subsequent releases.
The Nashville Teens' record producers also included Andrew Loog Oldham and Shel Talmy. One of their recordings was the mildly controversial Randy Newman number, "The Biggest Night of Her Life," about a schoolgirl who is "too excited to sleep", because she has promised to lose her virginity on her sixteenth birthday to a boy whom her parents like "because his hair is always neat".
My Generation is the debut studio album by English rock band the Who, released on 3 December 1965 by Brunswick Records in the United Kingdom, and Festival Records in Australia. In the United States, it was released on 25 April 1966 by Decca Records as The Who Sings My Generation, with a different cover and a slightly altered track listing. [5]
