27. Juli 2006 · I love the fact that Sarah Vaughan's renditions of these pop hits are even better than the originals. Her vocal range, tone, colour and texture is unmatched by anyone, and she adds new dimensions to the music with her incredible musical intuition. This is one of my all time favourite albums along with it's sequel album by Sarah: The New Scene.

Sarah Lois Vaughan (Newark 27 de marzo de 1924-Los Ángeles, 3 de abril de 1990), conocida como Sarah Vaughan [2] y apodada Sassy y La Divina, [3] fue una cantante de jazz y pianista estadounidense. Ganó dos premios Grammy, incluido el Lifetime Achievement Award, y fue nominada para un total de nueve premios Grammy. Recibió el NEA Jazz Masters Award en 1989.
