Louie Psihoyos. Director: Racing Extinction. Louie Psihoyos was born on 15 April 1957 in Dubuque, Iowa, USA. He is a director and producer, known for Racing Extinction (2015), Mission: Joy - Finding Happiness in Troubled Times (2021) and The Cove (2009).
Psihoyos, a licensed scuba-diver, has become increasingly concerned with bringing awareness to underwater life. In 2009 he directed and appeared in the feature-length documentary The Cove, which won an Oscar for Best Documentary Feature.
