The Cromwell tank, officially Tank, Cruiser, Mk VIII, Cromwell (A27M), was one of the series of cruiser tanks fielded by Britain in the Second World War.

Jan. 2015 · The Cromwell was numerically the most important British- built cruiser tank during World War II, contributing, along with the American Sherman, the main equipment of the United Kingdom’s armored force. They comprised all the tanks of the Reconnaissance Regiments of the Guards, and 11th Armored Divisions.
