For all die hard Dylan fans like myself this CD is a must. Like the best early Dylan, "Live at the Gaslight" is raw, direct and uninhibited. The musical simplicity of Bob's voice and his guitar lends itself to the sort of naked honesty that make Dylan so special. For anyone who cares at all about Bob, this album is a must.

I don't think anyone's version of Moonshiner comes close to the way Dylan did it on the Bootleg Series take. Actually he doesn't come close himself in this Gaslight show - here it's rushed & tossed-off in comparison.
