Phil Harris. Wonga Philip Harris (June 24, 1904 – August 11, 1995) was an American actor and comedian. As a voice actor he voiced: Baloo in The Jungle Book, Thomas O'Malley the Alley Cat in The Aristocats, Little John in Robin Hood and Patou in Rock-a-Doodle. In 1995, he had a heart attack and later died in Rancho Mirage, California at age 91.

His deep baritone was perfect for singing which was a good thing since he was a bandleader! In addition to being a bandleader and singer, Harris was a voice actor, radio star, and movie actor. In 1941, Harris married movie star Alice Faye.
2. Apr. 2020 · Phil Harris died on the 11 August 1995 at his home in Rancho Mirage California, due to a heart-attack and his wife Alice passed away three years later succumbing to stomach cancer. Both of them rest at Cathedral City’s Forest Lawn Cemetery. They are survived by their daughters, grand-children and great-grandchildren.
