The Maison Poincaré is located at the heart of the IHP, an international research center in mathematics and theoretical physics under the auspices of Sorbonne University and the CNRS.
The Institut Henri Poincaré has two sorts of legal status and two supervisory institutions, namely the CNRS and Sorbonne Université.
