11. Juni 2017 · BETTY JEAN THOMAS Betty Jean Thomas (Jeannie) passed away in Chico on June 11, 2017 at the age of 89. She was born in 1928 in Arlington, Texas. Her family moved to Los Angeles in 1929 where she graduated from Dorsey High School in 1947.
Professor Thomas was Director of the Folklore Program from 2003-2008. She also served as Interim Department Head for Interior Design from 2006-2008.
