The music seems to be a little more synthesized on this album versus recent Matt Nathanson albums, and there are lots of oh-oh-ohs in the vocals. But, there are lots of clever lyrics and the songs grew on me. After the first listen, I would have given the album three stars. After five listens, I would have given it 3 1/2 stars. 3. Aug. 2015 · Fazit: Auf 'Show me your fangs' präsentiert sich Matt Nathanson sehr vielfältig. Die Qualität seiner Songs ist gewohnt gut bis sehr gut. Was die Quantität der CD angeht, könnte es gerne noch etwas mehr sein, da seine 10 Lieder insgesamt recht kurz sind. Andererseits ist Langeweile ausgeschlossen.
