The Cowboy and the Lady is an album by Lee Hazlewood and Ann-Margret released by LHI Records in 1969. The album was one of the first projects Hazlewood developed after leaving ABC Records, severing his partnership with Nancy Sinatra and establishing his own label in 1968.

I don't dislike Ann Margret and in fact I like her campy 1960s recordings,besides so far I have not heard anything earth-shaking from Nancy Sinatra who was Hazlewood famous duet partner but when placed next to Lee Hazlewood who in my opinion was God,she simply sound too eager & tries too hard to be famme fatale,her vocals mismatched next to his cool,laid back delivery.
