4. Feb. 2021 · Jessica Andersson will sing “Horizon” in the first semi-final of Melodifestivalen 2021. This marks her eighth appearance in the competition and her sixth as a solo artist. She won the competition on her first attempt in 2003, going on to finish fifth at Eurovision as part of Fame. Jessica has made it to the final on each of her last three appearances at Melodifestivalen.
Jessica Andersson gewann 2011 mit ihrem Tanzpartner Kristjan Lootus die schwedische Version der Sendung Let’s Dance. Mit dem Lied Party Voice nahm sie am Melodifestivalen 2018 teil, wo sie direkt ins Finale einzog und dort den elften Platz belegte. 2021 nahm sie mittlerweile zum achten Mal am Melodifestivalen teil; nur drei andere Künstler nahmen häufiger teil.
