A Collection of Metal does a fair job of compiling the best moments from Saxon's early-'80s heyday, hitting most of the highlights, including "Denim and Leather," making it an adequate retrospective for the curious and the casual fan.
A fairly well-sequenced and assembled retrospective of Saxon's most popular period during the 1980s, with the best moments from said heyday present and accounted for, "A Collection Of Metal" is one of the better compilations on the market for the most unmistakably British-sounding group of the heavy metal new wave.
