Atlantic producer, Joe Chiccarelli, signed Tori and Steve Caton; all the other original musicians were dropped. Kim Bullard (of Kajagoogoo) and Matt Sorum (who would go on to play with Guns n' Roses) were brought in to help create the band's self-titled, first and last album, Y Kant Tori Read.
