28. Aug. 2023 · Canada Soccer announced on Monday afternoon that John Herdman will depart his post as head coach of the Canadian men’s national team. He will be taking on a new role as head coach of Major League Soccer club Toronto FC. Mauro Biello, who had been an assistant coach under Herdman since 2018, will take over as interim coach.
