23. Sept. 2023 · Jimbo Fisher, who went by the nickname “Jim,” was born as James Winston Fisher Jr. on Oct. 9, 1965, in Clarksburg, W.Va. During his early days, he had spent his childhood in Prichard, West Virginia along with his parents and attended Prichard high school. In high school, Fisher played football, basketball, and baseball.
Jimbo Fisher continues to lay the groundwork for an elite program at Texas A&M with positive momentum heading into the 2023 season. Fisher and his staff continue to sign outstanding players and develop players. Fisher, one of five active Football Bowl Subdivision head coaches to win a national championship, was named head football coach at Texas A&M University on Dec. 4, 2017.
