English. The Hideout ( Italian: Il nascondiglio) is a 2007 Italian-American mystery film written and directed by Pupi Avati. It marked the comeback of Avati to the thriller genre (a genre he had successfully explored decades before in films such as The House with Laughing Windows and Zeder) after a series of intimate dramas and nostalgic comedies.
The Hide is a 2008 film, the debut from director Marek Losey, who previously had an award-winning career as a director of advertisements. [1] The film starred Alex Macqueen and Phil Campbell, based on the stage play The Sociable Plover by Tim Whitnall, who also wrote the screenplay. The film had the strapline "No Crime Stays Hidden Forever".
13. Juni 2022 · Despite that, Hideout is a damn fine film that really only needs a bit tighter of an edit. Like much of the cast, Roselli came into this with only a few short films for experience and came out of it with an impressive first feature. Hideout is available on streaming and VOD platforms via VMI Worldwide.
