This violent revenge tale stars Tom Skerritt as John D’Angelo, a mad-as-hell Philadelphia shopkeeper who organizes a neighborhood patrol after a brutal crime wave turns the once-peaceful streets into a war zone.
While not exactly a great one, its heart was in the right place, and I found it pleasant enough. Sitcom surfaces clouded by post-war dark undercurrents. Not good, but very odd one. The cast performs professionally but the script could have used another run through the writer's room.
