Film. YMMV. Create New. Screamers: The Hunting is a 2009 sequel to Screamers. The film features a group of Alliance Marines sent from Earth to Sirius 6B to investigate a distress signal. It has been over a decade since last contact from the planet and the screamers are thought to be dormant.
Screamers was an interesting watch although not great, yet I couldn't resist to see the sequel especially since Lance Henriksen has a part, well actually more of a cameo than a part. To be able to watch this film completely you have to love low-budget films. Clearly Screamers : The Hunting has a very low budget indeed and as supposedly made for TV.
Die Mannschaft eines Raumkreuzers wird zu einem vermeintlich verlassenen Bergwerksplaneten gerufen, auf dem sich ehedem bewaffnete Maschinen mit den kolonialisierenden Menschen einen erbitterten Kampf lieferten.
