My Mott The Hoople story, from the band's formation in 1969 to the break-up at the end of 1974 and the reunion gigs in 2009 and 2013. I cover the offshoots MOTT and British Lions, as well as Ian's solo career.
First released on 29 March 1974, Mott The Hoople 's 7th album peaked in the UK Albums Chart at No. 11, and in the US at No. 28. The LP sleeve shows a portrait of Kari-Ann Muller, who was also featured on the cover of Roxy Music 's first album in 1972.
