20. Mai 2008 · There may not be enough room here to list all the different cornets and trumpets Bobby Hackett played. He changed horns, and mouthpieces, quite frequently. This is not particularly unusual, and there's nothing wrong with it. He probably did it "because he could". I know he played a short model French Besson cornet in the 1930's and also the 1950's.
