Jessi Colter knew her hard-living husband, Waylon Jennings, had to change his ways, but she sensed God was at work in his life. It was Waylon’s last Thanksgiving. He was in the hospital for more procedures, none of which helped stem the downward spiral. Diabetes, heart troubles, neuropathy—they’d all taken their toll.
