The lack of overlap in mandatory courses and appropriate participant numbers in lectures are particularly highlighted. With an average grouping of 1.0, the subject performs better than in 2021, when it scored 1.3.
Training for the teaching profession at vocational colleges includes relevant practical work of 12 months (24 months for FH Master's graduates). Until now, lateral entry (teaching without a teaching degree) into the teaching profession was reserved exclusively for graduates with a university degree. This has recently and fortunately changed , so that graduates of a subject-related FH Master's degree can also seek lateral entry.
In den 40 Jahren seit der Gründung 1978 haben insgesamt über 30.000 Teilnehmende das College der VHS Aachen besucht. Etwa 700 junge Erwachsene besuchen jährlich unsere Lehrgänge. Aus den Abschlusskursen erreichen jedes Jahr rund 240 Teilnehmende erfolgreich den Hauptschulabschluss oder den Mittleren Schulabschluss.
