The True Glory tells the story of the victory in Europe by Allied forces in World War 2 and, refreshingly, doesn't present it as the story of how the US forces single-handedly won the war. We hear lots of different voices tell their stories, and the images don't shy away from showing how awful war is. This is a very effective piece of documentary film.
