Many of the better-regarded films after the sixties are those that harken closer to the novels, specifically For Your Eyes Only, The Living Daylights, Licence To Kill, Casino Royale, and Skyfall. the last of which which does take from the You Only Live Twice novel and, like the other Craig films, is based off Fleming in regards to characterization.
