Goldberg’s dyslexia did make reading and school difficult, and she does talk about it, but even with that special way of learning, she never felt less than because her mother read to her and ensured that she had the support to be who she wanted to be.
Since I was a child, I was diagnosed with dyslexia, but was told it's just a reading difficulty issue. But I have noticed that I have glitches in my working memory. If I become extremely sleep deprived, or I am well rested, it gets better. But there is this middle ground where this glitching gets worse. The glitches also get worse when I am under stress, have caffeine, or both.
