Dez. 2023 · Options. on 11-12-202311:37. @peterkingiron If you are logging in via VM webmail you need to enter the third party email address as the username for your blueyonder email address together with the account password. If using an email client then the username remains the blueyonder email address but you then need to use a generated app password.
11. Dez. 2023 · In summary each Virgin Media email address (including legacy domains blueyonder, Ntlworld and virgin.net) now potentially has two username/password combinations. Access to the My Virgin Media account and the VM webmail page need a third party email address as the username with a password set by the account user.

7. Apr. 2024 · I have a blueyonder.co.uk email address where I need to reset the password due to security concerns. I have tried to reset it via the virgin media web site and also by calling technical support. When I use the online password reset feature it goes to a page that asks me to verify my identify and then says that I must create a new e-mail address.

Juni 2024 · I think I have messed up this as have created new password for My Virgin Media account, but then I had to generate a new password specifically for 3rd party mailbox apps, but all I was asked was to change my email address from my blueyonder.co.uk address, but there was nothing about a new secure password being generated, so I am now still unable to access my blueyonder.co.uk email account.

It seems to "Check Detail" OK, and I enter the correct password, but clicking on the blue "Sign in" box gives no action. When I try to access my email , I get a message: Your Virgin Media account is locked. I have spent hours on the phone to Virgin Media customer service who are useless to say the least.
