And in the 1980s, you also had Benny Hill, Frankie Howerd, Cannon and Ball, Bob Monkhouse, Little and Large and, my dad’s favourite, Bruce Forsyth. The two biggest influences on me were probably The Two Ronnies and my all-time favourites, Fry and Laurie.
