L.A. Confidential is one of my top three movies of all time. I just rewatched it for probably the 7th time last week. After all of these viewings, I still am bothered by what I consider is a huge plot hole: Dick Stenzel and Buzz Meeks were partners for years only about a decade before the current plot takes place.
