Derek Leckenby (born May 14,1943 in Manchester, England) played lead guitar for Herman's Hermits. Derek co-founded Pluto Music with Herman's Hermits member Keith Hopwood. Pluto music produced music for childrens television. Derek's nickname was "Lek". He unfortunately died of Non Hodgkin Lymphoma on June 4,1994 at the age of 51.
