There is an uncanny valley quality to their knockoff films, in particular, and Bronx Warriors fits right in with this almost reality vibe. It’s called a mix between Mad Max and The Warriors, and just like any good marketing campaign that’s at least a partial truth. I would throw Escape From NY in there as well, for what it’s worth.
