Look into using Discogs for the albums and CDs. Look them up on Discogs, add them to your inventory, then pull a CSV file that will contain all of that information for you. If the record has a barcode, you can just scan it and usually get it down to a handful of copies. Newer stuff will often lead to the exact release.
