Journeyman is the eleventh solo studio album by Eric Clapton. Heralded as a return to form for Clapton, who had struggled with alcohol addiction and recently found sobriety, the album has a 1980s electronic sound, but it also includes blues songs like "Before You Accuse Me", "Running on Faith", and "Hard Times."

13. Juli 2022 · Eric and George. Clapton recorded two Harrison compositions for his 1989 album, Journeyman; however, only Run So Far made the cut. That Kind of Woman would eventually see the light of day when it was released on Nobody’s Child: Romanian Angel Appeal in 1990.

Sept. 2023 · It’s long after 1 a.m. when Harrison winds up his kaleidoscopic torrent of timeless tapes with his own lustrous, harmony-steeped version of ‘Run So Far’, the poignant song he gave to Eric Clapton for his old chum’s 1989 Journeyman album. George muses that it might fit well with the more current efforts he’s culled for the new record, and it’s true.
Eric called for the help of a few friends in the recording of Journeyman with Mick Jones of Foreigner who so wrote Bad Love, George Harrison who plays and sings on what I rate as the worst track, Run so far and the Womacks who with Lead me on aren't far behind.
