Harsh light creates contrast which can be interesting and good. But it also emphasizes imperfections. This isn't the kind of photo you want to be taking in that way unless you're going to retouch it. Pretty much any other sort of lighting is going to be advantageous, but really it needs post processing. Vote.

Nirdue watched, a carefully schooled expression of indifference on his face. He sipped from his own cup before setting it down on the table. The ugly ring he had taken to wearing flashing in the light.
Vor 2 Tagen · That will give more light and air to the plants there, which were buried in tall grass and forget-me-nots. I also did some weeding (that darned dock!!) in the middle, and ultimately filled two yard-waste bags with trimmings. I feel like I accomplished a lot, even if it's not evident to the casual observer.
