He first came to prominence as one half of the comic double act Fry and Laurie, alongside Hugh Laurie, with the two starring in A Bit of Fry & Laurie (1989–1995) and Jeeves and Wooster (1990–1993).

I'm rewatching this series again, I loved it as a kid. I can't think of another sitcom with an actual musical score! BBC really splashed out the $$$ on this one to do it up right. It's swimming in locations, costumes, props, music, great actors, just the works. On top of all that, you have Stephen Fry and Hugh Laurie, what else could you ask for?

Miranda was initially disliked by critics as goofy mainstream fare when it landed on BBC2 on 9 th November 2009 at 8.30pm, which was not even a comedy slot at the time.
