Alice Roosevelt famously said that TR would never talk to her about her mother (TR’s first wife) which she felt was basically a form of child abuse. I think I’d pick based on how well adjusted and happy the president’s children were, rather than how politically successful they were. Probably Ford. Throw Hayes and Taft in there as well.
