Aug. 2013 · OFV.msi. hallo zusammen, bin neu hier und am lernen, wenn ich in Office 2003 über den Explorer ein Dokument öffne will, erscheint ein Fenster zum OFV installieren, find in meinem Verzeichnis dieses Ding nicht. ich bin schon wieder da, es ist mir gelungen "Microsoft Office File Validation Add-In" zu installieren.

Unable to execute ms-word:ofv office URI scheme command Hello everyone, I want to open a MS Word document located on server and I'm using office URI schemes for that. As a start, I wanted to do the same thing for a file located on my local machine then try with the file located on server.
Windows wants to update by installin Office File Validation Add-In however the installs stops as it looks for ofv.msi which is not on my PC. In anycase I notice under Add/Remove that Microsoft Office File Validation Add-In is already installed. When I try to uninstall it I get the same situation as the uninstaller looks for ofv.msi.
