However, I can't help but enjoy the idea of poor Jane getting a brief few months of happiness and comfort with a young Cary Elwes, so I gave this a whirl. I expected a sappy movie that played lose and fast with history, which it was, but I was NOT prepared for how accurately and sympathetically Mary was portrayed in this film.
