Professor Frank Wilczek is considered one of the world’s most eminent theoretical physicists. He is known, among other things, for the discovery of asymptotic freedom, the development of quantum chromodynamics, the invention of axions, and the discovery and exploitation of new forms of quantum statistics (anyons).
Frank Wilczek is world-renowned both as a theoretical physicist and as a writer and speaker on science. He has received many honors for his work, notably including the Nobel Prize. Frank has literary and inventive projects in the works.
Nobel Lecture and Biography. In 2004 I shared the physics Nobel Prize “for the discovery of asymptotic freedom in the theory of the strong interaction”. Laureates are asked to prepare a public scientific lecture for delivery in Stockholm, and later to supply a brief biography to be published along with it.
