Official website. Jeonju ( Korean: 전주, Korean pronunciation: [t͡ɕʌɲ.d͡ʑu], lit. 'Perfect region') [a] is the capital and largest city of North Jeolla Province, South Korea. It is both urban and rural due to the closeness of Wanju County which almost entirely surrounds Jeonju (Wanju County has many residents who work in Jeonju).
It is the official cultural tourism site of Jeonju, a global tourism hub city, and provides Jeonju travel information such as attractions, festivals, performances, recommended trips, tourist maps, transportation, and shopping in Jeonju.

Jeonju liegt ca. 230 km südlich von Seoul und ist die Hauptstadt der Provinz Jeollabuk-do. Die Anreise aus Seoul dauert mit dem KTX (Korea Train Express) ca. 2 Stunden und ist sehr komfortabel. Mit dem KTX geht es nicht nur sehr schnell, sondern ist auch noch relativ günstig.
