Rockefeller Plaza was added to the city's official street map in January 1933, and the RCA Building gained the address 30 Rockefeller Plaza. The next month, John D. Rockefeller III honored 27 mechanics for their work on the RCA Building.

The Merritt family was pushed out of Minnesota’s mining industry in 1894. Rockefeller didn’t control the Mesabi without competition, though.
